Episode 100: The View from the Spiral

Reaching 100 episodes of the Creative Journey podcast feels like a beautiful bloom from seeds I didn’t even realize I was planting four years ago.

When I first started, I wasn’t a coach. I was just a seeker who didn’t want to walk the path alone. I gathered a group to go through The Artist’s Way together, and that simple step of seeking community eventually grew into the birth of Creative Guidance LLC.

I need to take a moment to specifically thank the American Council of the Blind (ACB) Community. You gave me a safe place to start this journey.

I have had so much support from so many people within the ACB community who have made a massive impact on my life. Your encouragement gave me the strength to take those first steps when I wasn’t sure where the path was leading. You were the community I needed so that I didn’t have to do this alone, and I am forever grateful for the impact you’ve made on my growth.

In this milestone episode, I reflect on the “spiral” of development:

• The Loop: Even when we return to familiar challenges, we bring new skills with us.

• The Practice: How your support allowed me to practice my somatic and coaching tools while I was still in school.

• The Glimmers: Finding the small moments of joy that sustain us on the long journey.

As a thank you for the gifts of support I have received, I am sharing a gift of my own in this episode: a sound healing immersion. As a  Newly certified Sound Healing Practitioner, I am using my 432Hz crystal singing bowls to offer you a space of resonance and rest—a part of my practice I don’t typically share in my workshops.

Thank you for showing up week after week and for being the community that helped me bloom.
