Have you ever felt a sound vibrate not just in your ears, but deep within your chest?
This week, my home filled with a new kind of magic.
My husband gifted me a set of frosted crystal singing bowls, and I have spent days lost in their song.
“The medicine of the future will be music and sound.” — Edgar Cayce
I love this quote because it reminds us that healing isn’t always clinical; sometimes, it is a resonance that aligns our internal frequency back to peace.
The Magic of Vibration
Each of these bowls is tuned to a specific musical note that corresponds with one of our seven chakras.
For the first time in my life, I feel “musical.”
As I circle the rim, the friction creates a hum that grows into a warm, physical embrace of sound.
Why Sound Healing Works
Somatic practitioners value singing bowls because they facilitate Entrainment. This is when our fluctuating brainwaves and nervous system begin to match the steady, rhythmic frequency of the bowl.
