Journey with Coach Kaila March 2026

Springing into Self-Sovereignty

Welcome back to the Journey, friends,

The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatical experience. This insight from Emily Dickinson reminds us that as the earth thaws and life begins to stir, we too are invited to open our doors. March is a bridge between the deep internal rest of winter and the active blooming of spring. It is a time to decide what we want to plant in the garden of our lives and what boundaries we need to set to ensure those seeds have the room they need to grow.

As we transition into this season of momentum, remember that your energy is a finite resource. Just as a gardener prunes a rose bush to allow for more vibrant flowers, we practice mindfulness to prune away the mental clutter and fawning habits that drain our vitality. By noticing our internal dialogue without being swept away by it, we create the spaciousness required to choose our responses rather than reacting out of habit.

To help ground yourself during this busy month, try the 5-4-3-2-1 Sensory Grounding tool. Take a deep breath and identify five things you can hear, four things you can feel against your skin, three things you can smell or taste, two things you are grateful for, and one deep, intentional breath to finish. This simple practice pulls your awareness out of the what-ifs of the future and plants you firmly in the safety of the present moment.

If your energy were a physical garden, what is one weed of an old habit you are ready to pull to make room for something new?

With warmth and light,

Coach Kaila
